“Cuyamaca College has expanded my knowledge base in
relation to the field of school-age children.
The insight my Child Development instructors have given
me into school-age students’ physical and cognitive
growth has allowed me to continue working towards my
goal of providing the best quality care I can for the
youth in my programs.”
Sonya Brown, Sycuan Education Department Learning Center
Coordinator, graduating class of 2009.
The Child Development curriculum is designed to prepare students for employment as teachers, directors and aides in preschools and day care centers, including infant/toddler and extended day facilities.
