AS Degrees are awarded when students have completed the General Education Requirements plus 41-46 units of department classes which consists of:
• 38-41 units of core department requirements
• Plus a minimum of 3-5 units of specialized Electives.
Certificates are awarded when students have completed 27-29 units of department classes.
An official request must be filed with the Admissions and Records Office prior to the deadline as stated in the Academic Calendar.
This degree and certificate program provides entry level skills
as well as upgrading and/or refining of existing skills of individuals
employed in the field of Environmental Health and Safety Management.
The curriculum prepares students for transfer to four-year institutions
in an environmental technology or related major.
