The Student Affairs Office at Cuyamaca College is the one-stop area for student engagement opportunities offering you numerous ways to become involved on campus. For example, the Student Affairs Office has all of the contact information, making it easier for you to become involved.

By taking an active role on campus, you will not only meet new students and enhance your college experiences, but you will also augment your leadership skills. Take advantage of the wide array of available opportunities — participate in student organizations, serve on committees, run for elected office, plan a campus event, and/or participate in leadership development training programs. You have the ability to shape your own college experience, and the Student Affairs Office will provide you with the tools you need to succeed.


Diversity Dialogues

Purpose: These workshops, which will be offered on a regular basis, will focus on a variety of diversity awareness and social justice topics. Students will receive a stamp for every workshop they attend—students, who have completed a minimum of three workshops during the Fall and Spring Semesters, will earn a “Diversity & Leadership” certificate and will be recognized for their efforts at the Student Leaders Reception in May.

Emerging Leaders Program

The goal of Cuyamaca’s emerging leadership program is to offer opportunities for students to further develop and expand their leadership skills and knowledge, preparing them to serve in future leadership roles both on campus and in the community.

Academic Integrity Workshops

Students will be informed about academic integrity while participating in an interactive discussion regarding the Student Code of Conduct. This workshop will be a great educational opportunity to learn about the academic integrity policies and how to avoid potential misconduct issues in the future.
