Success Stories

The Cuyamaca Athletic Training Program is proud of the former student trainers who have gone on in their education and continued their success!

Here are a few of our successful former student trainers:

  • Koh Kaeda went on to complete his certification at Mesa and San Diego State University and has now returned to his homeland of Japan where he works as a trainer for the Honda National Rugby team.
  • Christina Yousif was accepted in the training program at San Diego State University after her work here at Cuyamaca, where she got her certification.  She now works as an orthopedic tech in an office in San Diego.
  • Hadeel Benny, after completing her student training at Cuyamaca, went on to get her certification through UCSD and San Diego State University.  She is now working for OASIS, an orthopedic doctor's office in San Diego.
  • Patrick Malloney completed his BS at San Diego State University after graduating from the training room at Cuyamaca.  He is currently doing graduate work at Cal State Northridge.
