
ASSOCIATE In SCIENCE DEGREES are awarded when students have completed the General Education Requirements plus CADD Department core classes plus the classes in the area of emphasis.
• 6 units of CADD Department Core Requirements
• A minimum of 18 units of Building Design Industry Electives.
OR
• A minimum of 15 units of Manufacturing Industry Electives.
CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION are awarded when students have completed the CADD Department core classes plus the classes in the area of emphasis.
Occupational preparation in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design is the primary purpose of the CADD Technology degree program.
Students are required to complete two core courses and to select from two potential career paths: Building Design Industry or Manufacturing Industry.
Adherence to industrial practices and standards is stressed with problem solving in a simulated industrial environment.
Lower division requirements for transfer to the Engineering Program at SDSU may also be met.
