Attention New Students
4 Steps to Enroll
Step #1 -
Apply Online
Visit the
Admissions & Records web pages for information about
transcripts, residency, cost, high school student
admissions, international student admissions and
veterans.
See
Academic Calendar for important deadlines.
Official transcripts are needed
to
clear prerequisites, and to
award prior credit for degrees and certificates,
this includes all AP, or IB credit.
Step #2 - Attend Assessment
Session
Sign up for Cuyamaca
Assessment Appointment on
WebAdvisor.
There is a limited number
of Assessment Appointments available. Once they are
filled, we encourage students to take the necessary steps to
prepare for the next semester by registering for an
Assessment Appointment during the next cycle.
To get the earliest new student registration date, you
must be fully matriculated, which is both:

Completion
of your English and Math assessment
·
Completion
of your orientation/new student advising appointment
Matriculation Deadline for Summer 2013: Fall 2013:
You may continue to matriculate after the
deadline, but your enrollment priority will be later in the
registration cycle.

Step
#3 - Attend Orientation & New Student Advising
Return to
WebAdvisor to sign up for new student orientation &
Advising
New students who have transcripts from
other colleges may see a counselor by appointment. Make
sure you either bring copies of these transcripts with you
to the appointment, or confirm with the Admission and
Records Office that your transcripts have arrived and have
been processed. 619-660-4429. The counselor
will provide you with an unofficial evaluation of your
course work and clear any prerequisites. Please call the Counseling Center for an
appointment, and specify that you are transferring in
from another college.
Step #4 -
Register and Pay Fees
Your Registration
Appointment is assigned and can be viewed on WebAdvisor.
Register for classes
online
via WebAdvisor. Your registration
is not complete until your fees are paid. You are
responsible for all appropriate fees. Students are
dropped for non-payment of fees.
WebAdvisor online tutorials are available to assist
you. You must have Flash Player to view these
tutorials.
Accepted Accreditation
Colleges and Universities must ensure the quality of the education they offer by adhering to a specified set of evaluation criteria determined
by private educational associations called accrediting agencies. Colleges and universities that meet an agency's criteria are then "accredited" by that agency.
To be accepted by the Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College District, your courses must have been taken at an institution
regionally accredited by one of the following agencies:
