Examines professional business practices used in the graphic design industry including design studios, agencies and self-employment. Students will learn how to create a resume, market a portfolio, acquire clients, set fees, and refine their design capabilities using text and images while learning how to perform as business professionals.
Prerequisite: "C" grade or higher or "Pass" in GD 129
or CIS 212 or equivalent. Student must have substantial body of completed
design or web projects prior to enrollment in this class.
