Cuyamaca College - EOPS

Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)

CARE is a state-funded program designed to recruit and assist recipients of Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)/CalWORKs who would like to attend college.

CARE is for single parent students who are EOPS eligible.

Program Eligibility:

You have been determined EOPS eligible
You are single and head of household
You are at least 18 years of age
You have at least one child under the age of 14
You, or your dependant child currently receive TANF/CalWORKs

How Do I Apply?

Complete the EOPS and CARE applications and submit to the EOPS Office
Provide verification of TANF eligibility
Provide a copy of your Welfare-to-Work contract
Complete the CARE Orientation
