INTRODUCTION
to persuasive essay

Six reasons why we do library research:
1. Different people have different points of view, opinions, and ideas about many things.
2. Issues become controversial when people disagree or even argue about them. People are often divided on controversial issues.
3. We must examine the facts in order to make an informed decision on whether we are for or against such issues.
4. They can affect and influence our daily lives and the country and the world that we live in.
5. Before arriving at an opinion on the issue, you need to conduct some research to be aware of the facts presented by both sides of the argument.

6. Research helps us to discover and support with specific examples rather than defend our views and attack others.
