BACKGROUND

 

After graduating from Fresno State in January 1972, I moved to San Diego and worked in the landscape construction industry until 1975 when I began teaching horticulture at Southwestern College in Chula Vista. I have had the pleasure of helping to establish the Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture Program in 1980 and our program has become recognized for the quality of the many industry members that have taught here over the years. Their enthusiasm and knowledge has inspired me throughout my career.
