BACKGROUND

Currently my work is primarily with other design professionals; Landscape Architects and Landscape Contractors but I also work with Developers and Builders, Interior Designers, and Architects. My role can be designer or I prepare graphic presentations or illustrations. Expectations: to share the 100’s of slides that I have created for the class and to help each of you to be the best landscape designer and drafter that you can be when you leave this class.

Certified California Nurseryperson
Active in horticulture and design related business since the early '80s working in the retail nursery business, managed stores for Smith & Hawken / apprenticed as a drafter with several Landscape Architects / launched my own design firm in the early 90’s Design Exteriors which I still have up and operational. I serve both the private sector (individual home owners) and provide professional design services.

Interests, Activities & Plans

Gardening & collecting amaryllis, making jewelry from semi-precious stones, launching new services in landscape and graphic communications. The new office AMENITIES, on Morena Blvd. in San Diego, opened June 1, 2009.
