Students' will learn the fundamentals of
Beginning Guitar, the history of the instrument, understanding the different
parts of the guitar, tuning, basic chords for popular songs, and strumming
patterns. Please bring your guitar to class.

Breathing is the foundation when playing the
harmonica. You will take the simplest of pop, folk, and blues melodies and
invigorate them with simple, but powerful, techniques to make any song
deeply expressive. No previous ability to read or play music necessary only
a desire to have fun and feel more alive! You will need a "C" major diatonic
harmonica. Available to purchase in class for $11, if needed.

Beginning Blues Harmonica will get you
jammin' the blues immediately! Play and have fun as you are introduced to
many tricks and techniques to make the harmonica cry, laugh, wail,
and scream! No previous musical experience is required - only a love of the
blues and a desire to play the harmonica. Students will need a "C" major
diatonic harmonica, which will be available in class for about $11.
