The class will discuss various topics for county residents who want to start a new winery business. Topics will include an overview of the size and scope of wine worldwide and in San Diego county, what the county boutique winery ordinance allows and does not allow, general and specific means of sales and marketing of wine, cash flow cycle from planting to sales, which varietals might work well locally, maintaining a vineyard, and how to hire employees.
