Using Clickers stimulates classroom participation and also gives immediate instructor feedback. For those who haven't seen a clicker in action. It basically works like this: The instructor poses a question (often multiple choice or true/false) which is projected in the classroom. Students select their answers by clicking the appropriate button on their wireless handheld device. Software on the instructors computer collects the students answers, tabulates the responses, and displays them on the screen, using technology seen on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Cuyamaca College has 15 sets of Clickers available for checkout from the LRC. Come and find out how to stimulate student learning and participation in your spring classes.
