Workshop Number: CC-S-890
Location: B-171

Students are entering college with diverse academic abilities and lack of preparation for college-level learning. Those assessed as needing remedial reading courses who do not enroll in remedial classes may be unaware of the competency level necessary to succeed in a college setting. As educators, what can we do to begin to address this concern? We invite you to participate in OUR READING TOOLBOX seminar where you will acquire tools and strategies to effectively activate and focus the minds of all basic and non-basic skills students. Come find out how each tool enables students to better understand what they read and in turn improve their reading performance as they read across many disciplines.

Please RSVP to barbara.pescar@gcccd.edu as lunch will be provided following seminar.
