Part 1: A Teaching Company DVD presentation of Professor Ed Burger on the mystery and allure of numbers and Fibonacci patterns in nature followed by a discussion on how this history and these patterns can improve learning in our classes.
Part 2: Group brainstorming, discussion and analysis on the spiral versus the sequential approach to teaching algebra. What is the best approach for our students?
