Meet The Triathletes of Team Challenge: Living and thriving with Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis
It's more than a tummy ache. 1 out of 200 Americans suffer from the painful and severe autoimmune diseases Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis, with 10% diagnosed before the age of 18. 70% of these patients eventually require surgery. They are your family, friends and co-workers. Now, imagine what it's like taking on a Triathlon or Ironman. Meet inspiring world-class triathletes, coaches and patients with this disease who have committed their lives to promoting fitness and finding a cure with the Team Challenge Endurance and Training Program (Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America). Learn about symptoms and treatments and how best to be there for your friends, family and colleagues with this disease. HEALTHY SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED.
